Nutcracker

She did it!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WOOOOHOOOO!!!!!!!

Nicole made it out onto the stage and I am so proud of her. It was quite difficult for her, as most of you know Nicole likes her comfort zone, and it is tough getting her to do something she isn't too familiar with..

The night of the dress rehearsal she was VERYexcited and was doing fine in the green room; until it was time to line up to hit the stage. As they were lining up shebegan to cry and she was removed from the group and told she couldn't dance unless she stopped crying. So, she was standing in the backstage watching the girls on the stage and told me; "Mom, I'll try it". And, just like that she ran out onto the stage and danced like an angelic cherub. She never looked back, I was so proud of her, for making that decision to face one of her fears and get out onto a stage and dance, I know that it was difficult for her and she did a fabulous job!!

Way to go Nicole!!!!

She has 3 more performances to go... Keep your fingers crossed that she keeps up with the courage that is needed to perform...

I'll keep you posted.

*****update**************

Nicole, danced for all 4 performances!! The first words out of her mouth when she got off of the stage was, "I love when people watch me". Looks like she just might have the dancing bug.

Thanks to all of you who came out and joined us in watching Nicole's debut!!

Check out this link to the Victoria Advocate, she is the tall angel in front!
