Happy Birthday Abuella!!
I have to admit I am a sucker for surprise birthday parties. Especially when the guest of honor is completely unsuspecting of the upcoming event. And, let me assure you, abuella had NO clue.. that 30 of her family members were about to jump around the corner and yell surprise. I was momentarily afraid that my dear Suegra (mother in law for all you gringos) was about to go into shock, but with her radiant smile and loving grace she embraced her family who were so eager to celebrate her.
