With the news that hurricane Ike was headed our direction, we decided to board up the house and head inland. We then learned that Ike made a northward turn towards Houston, being that we had already packed for a week, we decided to enjoy our little hurrication. And we had a fabulous time!
We stayed with Hector's brother in New Braunfels, who was ever so gracious to let a family with 2 young kids and dog come invade his home for a few days. We visited Landa park, which was absolutely gorgeous. Took the kids to Gruene, and of course we hit the outlet malls in San Marcos.
