The Reyes Bunch: The Roadtrip to Dallas

My mom was quite brave this summer and invited myself, Nicole, and Jacob to go with her to Dallas for a week this summer. And let me tell you... traveling with a 3.5 month old and an energetic four year old isn't a "walk in the park". But, we made it safely, even if it took us 12 hours to travel 300 miles!!! But, I have to add that we did make a few stops, including one in Round Rock to visit with my sisters and nephew, and get a little shopping done at the Round Rock outlets.

Once we were in Dallas, the kids and I headed out to McKinney to visit some dear friends of ours the Trevinos (Mel. ALex and Blake) and the Seguras (Jeff and Heather, nicole's godparents) We had a great visit, Blake and Nicole had a great time being the mischevious four year olds that they are and Mel and I were able to catch up on some much needed time.. Jeff and Heather were alot of fun to visit, too. They took Nicole down to the playground and Jeff was quite the playmate as you can see him going down the slide with Nicole..
