Corpus Trip

Hector and I thought we would be brave and experience our first family vacation this summer in Corpus Christi. We really weren't sure how Jacob was going to do away from home and moving around so much, but we soon found out that he is a true Reyes boy; always ready for something new and quite flexible as long as we had some food waiting for him. Nicole had a blast staying in a hotel room, and visiting the Texas State Aquarium. She especially enjoyed the dolphin tank, and would run back and forth in front of their underwater glass until the dolphins started to chase her. It was a priceless moment.

Hector and I were absolutely exhausted by the time we got home, we made the mistake of thinking that we too were on vacation and attempted a stop at our favorite store, half price books, and it was a complete disaster. After 4 trips to the bathroom, 1 feeding incident, 1 pooping incident, numerous bad looks from other customers who thought our baby was screaming too loud in a bookstore we decided that this probalby wasn't the best stop to make. ha ha

We are looking forward to celebrating our 6th wedding anniversary next weekend by seeing George Lopez in Corpus, and hopefully a more successful stop at the bookstore!
